HAM Radio Antenna Debate Expected in Congress

The Community Associations Institute has issued an Action Alert relative to Congressional easing of antenna installation requirements for HAM Radios and how they may affect condominiums and other community associations.  CAI views the unrestricted installation of towers and large, fixed antennae as a “heavy handed and unnecessary intrusion” on community associations and is urging associations and their legal counsel to contact elected officials to request that they oppose all prohibition of review of antennae installation.  Interested unit owners and trustees can get more information by emailing Sanford at [email protected].
